AB Psych Consulting was founded in 2018 by Dr. Anthony Benigno, PsyD who is affectionately known as Dr. B. He is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than a decade of experience serving children, adolescents and families and is known for his commitment to advancing the field of psychology.
Today, our team of more than 20 dedicated mental health professionals serves several communities in California and AB Psych has been recognized as a leading psychological services provider. However, our true measure of success is helping each client to secure an accurate diagnosis, build the right treatment plan, and move forward with hope and confidence.

Psychological evaluations
Get clear answers with an in-person assessment for behavior, learning or emotional concerns. Available for children, teens and adults.
Medication support
Our team works closely with individuals and families to determine whether medication may be a helpful part of treatment and to ensure it’s used safely and effectively.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
We provide personalized strategies, mainly for children, to help them build skills to thrive at home and school. This is known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Brain-based magnetic therapy
For older teens and adults, we can now provide a non-invasive, medication-free treatment option for depression and other conditions. Mental health professionals call this Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
